The NEFA Foundation has obtained a transcript of a communication from German Al-Qaida member Bekkay Harrach (a.k.a. “Abu Talha the German”) titled “O Allah, I Love Thee, Part 2”. In the message, Harrach, who was named a Specially Designated Global Terrorist by the U.S. Treasury Department in October 2009, stated, “Jihad is a project that must be realized. My own success is not a precondition for joining the jihad. I may achieve my goal, but I may also end up in Guantanamo. For Allah’s cause I must be ready to accept everything…” The NEFA Foundation has published transcripts of several of Harrach’s statements, including “Security is a Mutual Interestf”, "Islam and the Financial Crisis", and “A Bailout Pan for Germany”, as well as an analysis of “A Bailout Plan for Germany”.

[9/28/09] Bekkay Harrach “Security is a Mutual Interest”
The NEFA Foundation has obtained a new video recording of German Al-Qaida member Bekkay Harrach (a.k.a. “Abu Talha the German”) titled “Security is a Mutual Interest.” In the tape, Harrach sought to influence the German populace ahead of the September 27th elections by stressing the perils of continuing the war in Afghanistan. Harrach stated, “If the Germans took the side of peace now, the mujahideen will also take peaceful means, and with the withdrawal of the last German soldier from Afghanistan, the mujahid in Germany will be pulled out. This is a promise from al-Qaeda.” He warned, “But, for the Muslims in Germany I say: Peace be upon you and Allah's mercy and blessings. My beloved brothers in Allah: al-Qaeda asks you to keep away from anything not important during the two weeks that follow the elections, should the German people decide not to pull out their soldiers from Afghanistan. Keep your children near you during this period. I ask Allah to protect you and your children and all children."

[3/30/09] "An Address to the Muslims from Abu Qatada”
The NEFA Foundation has obtained a communiqué from Abu Qatada describing his incarceration in the U.K. and responding to the British government's decision to deport him to Jordan, where he has been convicted in absentia on terrorism charges. Qatada assailed the "contempt and hatred, which the British governments holds against Islam, the Muslims and the Arabs." He added, "My case is one of the true cases in which the racism of the British judicial system becomes clear, along with its hatred towards Islam and the Muslims.” He also acknowledged encountering London/Glasgow plotter Bilal Abdulla in prison, who told him, "I have been influenced by your audio tapes a lot." Abu Qatada arrived in the U.K. on September 16, 1993 on a forged UAE passport. According to the Special Immigration Appeals Commission, he “has given encouragement to the commission, preparation and instigation of terrorism overseas by providing spiritual and religous advice to a number of extreme Islamists prepared to carry out terrorist attacks...These groups and networks include the Al Qa’eda network, the Armed Islamic Group (GIA), the Salafist Group for Call and Combat (GSPC), and the Egyptian Islamic Jihad (EIJ)."

[3/16/09] German Al-Qaida Member Bekkay Harrach: "Islam and the Finance Crisis"
The NEFA Foundation has obtained and translated a German-language video recording of German Al-Qaida member Bekkay Harrach (a.k.a. “Abu Talha the German”) produced by the As-Sahaab Media Foundation. During the video, titled “Islam and the Finance Crisis", Harrach asked, "Where are the taxes that the German people now need so urgently? They are spent in Afghanistan for soldiers who are doing anything other than fighting.” He stated, "I will try to bring the causes of the crisis to light and suggest - according to the Islamic economic system that is based on the Sharia - a rescue package for the newly-born crisis. After the collapse of communism, the West has proudly boasted that capitalism was THE financial system. But it has not just once fallen on its face but several times. What is now the solution and which financial system is now in question?”

[1/20/09] German Al-Qaida Member Bekkay Harrach: “A Bailout Plan for Germany”
The NEFA Foundation has obtained and translated a new German-language video recording of German Al-Qaida member Bekkay Harrach (a.k.a. “Abu Talha the German”) produced by the As-Sahaab Media Foundation. During the video, titled “A Bailout Plan for Germany”, Harrach threatened, “I asked the German people what do the German secret services really know and do they believe that they can really protect the German people? Or have they not already admitted that they cannot put anything up against Al-Qaida… If you look at the strategy of Al-Qaida, you conclude that only those who were aggressive became targets… In that predicament, have the Germans any other choice then looking for the fastest way home? Time is running out for the Germans. I appeal to the German people, finally stand up and become reasonable… Don’t believe that you will get away scot-free or that even the smallest of your injustices will be forgotten or overlooked.” Harrach also appeared to mock widespread support among Germans for the election of President Barack Obama in the U.S. Addressing upcoming democratic elections in Germany, Harrach insisted, “the people have no choice because both parties want the same thing, no matter whether you will vote soon for McCain or Obama… Maybe the day will come when you will wish to be South Koreans or to have Opera leader Kirsten as Chancellor.”

[8/25/08] Text of Threat to Gordon Brown - Led to U.K. Arrests?
Earlier this month, British authorities arrested three individuals, including two as they prepared to leave Britain, on terrorism charges. According to open source reporting, the arrests were linked to an online threat to Prime Minister Gordon Brown that was posted in January 2008 on al-ekhlaas.net. The posting, made available by the NEFA Foundation, was purportedly issued by "the leader of Al-Qaeda in Britain" and demanded: "A complete withdrawal of the British troops from Afghanistan and Iraq. To free all Muslim captives from Belmarsh prison, and the foremost of them Shaykh Abu Qatada al-Filistini and Shaykh Abu Hamza al-Misri.”

[2/24/06] Video of Anti-Denmark Protest in London
The January 2006 republication of cartoons from Denmark lampooning the Prophet Mohammed has caused a growing wave of bitter anger and violence to spread throughout the Muslim world--and likewise among well-organized groups of extremists living in Western nations. On February 3, a U.K.-based militant faction formerly known as "Al-Muhajiroun" ("The Emigrants") helped organize a raucous demonstration outside the Danish, Norwegian, and French embassies in central London. Video excerpts from the demonstration are now available for download c/o the NEFA Foundation website.

[9/15/05] Purported Threat by "Al-Qaida in Northern Europe"
In a new communiqué verified as authentic by the same online authority responsible for distributing credible material from Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, a group calling itself "Al-Qaida's Committee in Northern Europe" has issued a threat to carry out additional suicide bombing attacks similar those that took place on July 7 in downtown London. According to an electronic statement issued on September 11, members of the purported Al-Qaida unit announced their intention to "sacrifice our souls and dead bodies for this religion, in order to raise the flag of the mujahideen, and to preserve the souls of the Muslims in the same way that our brothers in Britain have done previously." No specific European nation or target was mentioned in the communiqué.

[8/29/05] "Junior Osama Bin Laden" Resurfaces in Bosnia
An Algerian terrorist commander once thought to head a transnational sleeper cell network that included would-be Al-Qaida Millenium bomber Ahmed Ressam has resurfaced in Bosnia-Herzegovina, vehemently denying allegations recently presented to the Bosnian Supreme Court in Sarajevo that his foreign mujahideen unit committed war crimes during the Bosnian civil conflict of the 1990s. Algerian militant commander Abu el-Maali--the former chief of the foreign mujahideen unit in Bosnia--granted an exclusive interview to a mujahideen-affiliated magazine in Bosnia in order to respond to charges leveled during the recent trial of Iraqi-born Abduladhim Maktouf--convicted in early July of aiding in the 1993 kidnapping of three Croat civilians subsequently held prisoner in a mujahideen-run torture camp.

[7/28/05] Calls for American Blood at May Rally in London
Last May, at the height of the Newsweek-Quran desecration fiasco, a group of Al-Qaida supporters and clerics held an anti-American rally in central London. The organizers included Shaykh Omar Bakri Mohammed (founder of the fanatical British Al-Muhajiroun movement) and Yasser al-Sirri (a leader of the Egyptian Islamic Jihad in exile). During the rally, dozens of demonstrators chanted responsively, "USA, you will pay! With your blood, with your blood! ...Bomb, bomb USA! Scud, scud USA! Nuke, nuke USA! The mujahideen are on their way! Jihad! Jihad! Jihad!" Omar Bakri can be seen dressed in a white gown, greeting the other speakers at the front of the crowd and wearing a photo of the Egyptian Shaykh Omar Abdel Rahman--currently imprisoned in the United States for his involvement in a series of terrorist plots targeting New York landmarks.

[7/24/05] U.K. Cleric: Make the Earth "Warm with Blood"
Not far from the south London neighborhood where British police have been frantically searching for additional would-be suicide bombers, lies the unassuming town of Brixton. Coincidentally or not, Brixton is also the former home of
Shaykh Abdullah al-Faisal, a Jamaican-born Islamic convert and religious leader now serving a lengthy prison sentence for inciting young Muslims to kill Jews and Hindus.
